To the members of Post 88, we are going through the middle of the year and I am still your Chaplain. No one has contacted me about any “sick call” or “post everlasting” in the last month. I pray that all are well.
Don’t forget the 4th of July festivities downtown in Turlock. Come down and say Hello. The Honor Guard will be part of the program.
I have received calls asking for canes. I have one left given by a WWII vet just recently.

The next Auxiliary meeting will be held on July 8th at the Legion Post. A “brown bag” social time will be from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm. The meeting will start at 1:30 pm.

Our final elections for Post Officer’s will be held the first Tuesday of this month. I would like to thank everyone that came out to the Memorial Day Service at Turlock Memorial Park. It was a great service thanks to our VFW Comrades for hosting the program, and John for an outstanding job cooking the chicken. A good time was had by all.
