Here’s an update on Steve Avila’s recovery.
He is at Hy-Lond Care Center 1900 Coffee Rd Modesto. He had shoulder surgery last week and is currently in physical therapy on the road to recovery.

Chaplain’s Corner For August.
Dear Brothers & Sisters,
Another Fair Season is over and we hope all are doing well.
I haven’t heard of anyone who is sick or in the hospital at this time other than our long term sick call.
We pray that our sick call people are getting on the mend.
Our meetings are still on the first and third Tuesday of each month. We hope to see you there. It might be time for some of us to get together and buddy together to get to our meetings. .Contact a friend and see us at a meeting.

Our Legion Rider member Stephen Avila was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on 7/3, when he was thrown off his motorcycle on hwy 99.
He is at Doctors Hospital in Modesto recovering. He will be going to rehab in a couple of days.
