We are going into the season of things to be thankful for and to give to those who are in need. It is also a time for Christmas to celebrate the birth of Jesus. May all of us be able to enjoy our families and friends into a new year.
Let me know if a member or their wife is sick or in the hospital or has passed on.

Commander’s Corner for November.
Comrades,
This coming month will be very busy for the Post.
November 2nd: Homeless Veterans Stand-Down from 9am-3pm, bus service is available at 8:20 am at Turlock Salvation Army on 893 Lander Ave,
November 5th: Turlock Naval ROTC Annual Dinner and Dance also at Salvation Army Hall on 893 Lander Ave, dinner starts at 5:30pm, wear your Legion Caps Suit with tie/Uniform for those that still wear them. With Medals are ok.
November 9th: Stanislaus University at 10:30am-1:30pm to Thank Veterans day, all veterans are invited.
November 11th: ay the Cannon at 10am To Honor Vietnam Veterans, Turlock High School’s Band and ceremony from 10-12:30 pm. Following on Veterans Day will be a Ribbon Cutting at Stanislaus County Veterans Center with yours limited tours will be available along with refreshment starts at 3:30pm, location Sylvan Square 3500 Coffee Road, Modesto.
We will have our annual Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinner watch website for date.
