Brothers & sisters the holidays are upon us. There are many things that are keeping us busy during the next 45 days. May you have good health and great times with your families. Some of us have families far from us and we still can keep them in our thoughts and prayers.
This last month there was a situation where a veteran didn’t have his DD214 and no one else knew where to find his DD214 (discharge papers). For you and your family do a service to your family. That is to gift of letting them know where your discharge papers are so that your DD214 can be found.
A D.A.V. Veteran information seminar will be held on December 6, 2014, 10:00 am @ American Legion hall Rex Ish Post 88, 75 Bothun Rd. Turlock, CA. 95381. A national Service officer from D.A.V.’s Oakland office will control the seminar.
All you veterans having problems, this is your chance to advise your problems first hand. Bring your DD214 and your complete file.

Our next meeting will be held on December 9, 2014 @ the Legion Hall. Social Hour starts @ 12:30 pm and the meeting starts @ 1:30 pm. We will have “Brown Bag” for social time.
I want to thank everyone who bought tickets for our tri-tip fundraiser; also the Auxiliary members and Legionnaires who helped. A big thank you to John Haggstrom, who cooked the tri-tip and beans for us. It was very successful.
