This will be a busy month for our Post. We had a table at the Turlock NJROTC 1st Annual Military Ball/Dinner, thanks to all those were able to come all had a good time. Now please don’t forget our Veterans Dinner sponsored By John, it’s on Nov. 6th.

Hello everyone, I was please to see more members supporting our events and showing up to the meetings.
I also would like to remind all of you that the Stand-Down is on Friday November 7, we are still in need of volunteers so please let’s show support to other veterans in need.
Dear Brothers and Sisters the Holidays are upon us, again. There are many functions that are out there for us in the next few months.
We hope that we see you there. Keep our members and their families in your prayers.
Don’t forget our meetings on the First and Third Tuesdays of each month at 6:00 P.M.
A D.A.V. Veteran information seminar will be held on December 6, 2014, 10:00 am @ American Legion hall Rex Ish Post 88, 75 Bothun Rd. Turlock, CA. 95381. A national Service officer from D.A.V.’s Oakland office will control the seminar.
Bring your V.A. claim number & social security number or a copy of your DD214 & lets find out why there is such a delay in obtaining an answer from the Oakland office.
The Auxiliary will meet on Nov. 11th @ 12:30 pm for social hour. Bring a “brown bag” lunch and a pumpkin dessert will be furnished for our Thanksgiving lunch. Due to lack of members coming to our meetings we will not have our annual Thanksgiving potluck.
November 6th is our Tri-tip drive thru. John Haggstrom will be cooking the Tri-tip and beans for us. Pick up time is 3:30 to 6:30 pm. We sold approximately 100 tickets this year.
