Our next Legion Riders/Sons meeting will be held on Sunday Oct. 7th, 2018 @ 0900 at the Legion Post.
We are planning a motorcycle run to Santa Nella on Sunday Oct. 21, 2018 starting at 0900 at the legion post to honor the memory of Frank Goldsmith, followed by a cookout at the legion dining hall.
Additional info on Steve Avila is that he will hopefully be released from The Hi-Lond care center in the near future, hopefully before Sept 17th.

We have moved into another season. Labor Day is the marker that moves us into this season. School is back in session and our families are prepping for Fall.
Our Sick Call is growing again. We all need to take time to take check of ourselves and those close to us. Even prayer helps to ease some stress.
Don’t forget the First and Third Tuesdays are meeting nights.

Turlock Veterans organizations are having a picnic on Labor day at the VFW Field stating at 12noon, Meat is provided but, A-M should bring a salad and N_Z bring dessert. Bring your lawn chairs.

Here’s an update on Steve Avila’s recovery.
He is at Hy-Lond Care Center 1900 Coffee Rd Modesto. He had shoulder surgery last week and is currently in physical therapy on the road to recovery.
