The Department of Cal. Legion Riders convention will held on April 21st thru the 22nd at the Junior Seau Recreation Center at 300N Strand street in Oceanside Ca.

The convention activities  begin at 0800.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, March 6th, the Bar will open @ 4:30 pm. The General Business Meeting will begin @ 6 pm.

Another two months has gone by and we are still on track to improve our membership. We have a committee making calls to our members that are behind in their dues. Thanks to the members at our last meeting, the post has approved partial payment of $10.00 to offset the $40.00 dues for members who have been inactive for a year. We are going to push all members to pay their 2018 dues.

Other ideas suggested were to have a Member’s Appreciation Dinner for all current members once a Quarter, we are looking to see how this will impact our Friday Dinner night. I am asking all current members to check their membership cards to ensure you have a 2018 card. We will be starting our election of Post Officers in April/May and June, In order to vote you must be paid up in your dues.

All Post 88 Legion Free Dinners and free functions are for Members with Active 2018 membership cards and their Families Only. Thank you for your Support.
