Comrades, first of all I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year. A special thanks to the Sons of the Legion and the Legion Riders along with John Haggstrom for their wonderful food every Friday Night. This month all members should come out and fully support these groups.

February 15th – at the Merced Post – Training of all post officers. Special training will be given to 1st Vice Commanders and Adjutants, starting at 10am. New Post By-laws must be submitted to District/Area/State/National for approval on the following: Post elected officers are Commander, 1st Vice Commander, 2nd Vice Commander and Sergeant-At-Arms. Along with changing the name of our Executive Board to Executive Committee! Start thinking about our Legionnaire of the Year nominee 2013.
