We have lost an great Legionnaire, Ephraim Yohannan. First, let me thank all of my Comrades that were able to attend Ephraim’s service, It was a beautiful service. Please, contact our Chaplin, Earl Hamilton at 632-1101, if you know a member, Auxiliary member, Son of Legion or Legion rider who are ill, or sick and shut-in.
On Labor Day, Monday, September 1st, we will have our Annual Pig Pit Cook-Off, sponsored by VFW, DAV and American Legion. It will held at the VFW park. All members names ending A-L bring salads and M-Z bring a dessert. All soda Etc. is provided.
Finally. Please pay your 2015 dues, they are still only $30.00. Also, if you are unable to pay your dues at this time due to an hardship, contact 1st Vice Commander, Leslie Cruz at (209)634-4202, leave a message. This will be kept in complete confidence and the Post will pay your dues until you are able to get back on your feet.
