A letter has been sent out to all members informing them that Unit 88 will be turning in our charter and closing at the end of this calendar year. It is sad after 90 years as Unit 88 we are not able to continue due to lack of participation.
The May 12th meeting will be held at Latif’s Restaurant at 12:30 pm, because we have only three or four at a meeting.
The next district 12 meeting will be May 2nd & 10:00 am at Merced Unit 83. The Department President will be making her official visit.
Sad news regarding two of our previous secretaries:
Carlene Voight
Carlene Voight passed away this past week due to a stroke. She will be missed by all who knew her. A very sweet lady. We send our prayers to her husband Bob.
Kevin Stach, husband of Brenda passed away after a long illness. Our love and prayers go out to Brenda thru this difficult time.
