Commander’s Corner for April.

Comrades,

I don’t know when we can start meeting again, until we get the all clear concerning this virus. Our State Commander has directed all Posts to stand down and all of us to maintain at least 6 feet of distance away from each other due to the virus situation.

There will not be any Friday dinners until they tell us we can open again. We still have to complete our Post By-Laws and our elections for Post Officers.  Hopefully we can start meeting again sometime this coming month.

I would like to remind all of our members to reach out and call our members and see how they are handling this isolation in-home. There is no schedule of events until we have the all clear.

The following stores have set aside hours for seniors:

Costco: Tues and Thurs 8-9 AM

Dollar General: 8-9 AM daily

Target: Wednesday only 8-9 AM

Safeway: Tues/Thurs 6-7 Am

Walmart : Tuesday 7-8 AM

O’Brien’s Market: 7-8 AM 9 (65 & older-Be prepared to show ID)

Smart and Final: 7:30-8AM opens for seniors shopping

SaveMart: Tues/Thurs. 6-9 am
