It is another year (2016). The post runs on its members and need more of the members showing up to our meetings. The meetings are on the First and Third Tuesday of each month. The meetings start at 6:00 p.m., for a dollar ($1.00) you can have a meal. Drinks are extra, normally the meetings finish around 7:00/7:30p.m.
Paying your monthly bills, especially when your spouse passes on and it is your responsibility to pay them, can be difficult.
Since becoming Service Officer I’ve learned the answer. Take your monthly bills to your bank with your monthly bank statements, checkbook and the bank will make the checks out and you sign the individual checks.
I had one lady who had never written a check. Her husband handled all of the business. It is best to check out the monthly bills now, especially if the spouse pays them. My wife has two separate check books that is used for paying bills.
Tomorrow, Friday, January 29th, the Bar will open @ 4 pm. Dinner will be hosted by CC @ 6 pm. All members and their families are welcome.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, January 19th, the Bar will open @ 4 pm. The General Business Meeting will begin @ 6 pm. All auxiliaries make a report.
Tomorrow, Friday, January 15th, the Bar will open @ 4 pm. Dinner hosted by The Gymnastics Club @ 6 pm.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, January 12th, the Bar will open @ 4 pm. The Executive Board Meeting will begin @ 6 pm.
