Hello Everyone,
Another Legion Year has ended, and we are preparing for 2016 memberships, please make sure that you have caught up with your 2015 membership.
As a quick reminder, we have nominations for new board officers the first meeting of April. If any member wants to volunteer or be nominated for any officer position, remember that you have to be present for April meetings. Remember that Post 88 needs your support and leadership to keep going and We are looking forward for the 2016 leadership.

Service Officer’s Corner For April.
V.A. works to expand “Choice Program Eligibility”. In order to expand eligibility for the veterans choice program, the Department of Veteran Affairs today announced that it will change the calculation used to determine driving distance. The policy change will be made through regulatory action in the coming weeks. V.A. has worked very quickly to implement the veteran choice program and “We appreciate the constructive feed back shared by veterans and our partners to help improve service to veterans.” said Secretary Robert McDonald. The next auxiliary meeting will be on April 14, 2015 @ 12:30 pm. Since there are only about three of us attend the meeting, I will call and let you know where we will meet. Maybe a restaurant.
