Tomorrow, Friday, May 6th, the Bar will open @ 4:30 pm. Dinner will be hosted by Linda @ 6 pm. Cost: $8.
On the Menu:
Herbed Pork Tenderloin, Potatoes in Mesquite Cream sauce, Corn, Cranberry Scones and butter, tow salad
(Cabbage and Green) Sides Apple Sauce and Cranberry Sauce desert.

Now is the time to start thinking about electing new Post Officers. Our first nomination is the 3rd Tuesday of April, May and final on 3rd Tuesday in June. I was miss quoted on not being able to run again, that rule only applies to the District Commander, so I’m willing to run again, if nominated. Coming up this month all member must show their current membership card in order to vote in elections.
Remember our Memorial Day Ceremony at Turlock Memorial Park 425 Soderquist Road starts at 10 am, after our service we will all gather at VFW 5059 Post for lunch and refreshment. All member last names are A-N please bring salads, M-Z bring desserts. Beer is provided by American Legion/VFW, come and enjoy open to all and families. Kids are welcome too. All our Dinners are open to the Public and all member’s families.

Dear Brothers & Sisters,
As we move toward Summer we think of travel and visiting other people. Just remember of the thousands of others that can’t do what you can do. Maybe it would be a good time to donate to your favorite charity, whether be monetary or in your time. Each of us can make a difference in another’s life.
Our new cook, Linda Jenks is an excellent cook. We have one problem, the members are not getting the message. We have a dinner every Friday night. In the last couple months I’ve called over 50 to 60 members and we had close to 100% of those called for the dinners.
This calling of members should be every week. Please call me for volunteers to start calling.
Linda needs a count in order to know how much food to order.
