Per Department of American Legion you must fill out the recent form for the “free $5,000.00 benefit” at no cost to the Veteran. If you completed a previous form you will need to fill out the most recent form to continue the coverage.
The above coverage is for accidental death benefit which would occur while on official Legion business or $1,000.00 for all other covered accidents.
